After more than a year of silence, local Liberal Democrat councillor Angela Clark has finally contacted the council about the ongoing damage to Padden Brook.
Residents have been voicing concerns for 13 months as the once-loved beauty spot has deteriorated. Many feel the delayed response shows a lack of urgency and leadership on an issue that matters deeply to the community.
Campaigners now hope this long-overdue action will lead to real progress — but say they will be watching closely to make sure the problem is not allowed to drag on for another 13 months.
She has apparently emailed Arboricultural Officer and the Head of Legal, and is awaiting their comments.
