I fought the LibDem disaster bypass very hard and it doesn’t yet destroy the Goyt Valley. I fought Tesco and won with Mr Parfett and Friends of the Earth over their Tesco store built 20% too big. One of my FOI requests to the Highways Agency was taken by the Campaign For Better Transport and led to an Audit Commission report which exposed £3 billion of overspend on roadschemes in the 1990s. We pay almost half a million pounds to keep the LibDems – that is a lot of money for just litter picking. Had they responded over Padden Brook I would never have started this newspaper or written the books I have such at this one – https://theromileygazette.substack.com/p/learning-law-from-a-lawless-council?r=1l1xoh. Thanks for helping me publish them.
You have the title wrong for this load of AI generated rubbish. It should read “How one deranged resident sees Lib Dem MP Lisa Smart”. You don’t speak for Romiley, just yourself, as the the majority don’t agree with your views. Lisa Smart is an excellent MP who works hard for the good people of Romiley and beyond. What have you ever done to improve Romiley? We don’t see you going round picking up litter, helping with community projects or anything else that is for the greater good. You just look at everything with your blinkers on. Shame on you.

Here at the Romiley Gazette, we use Artificial Intelligence to help with things like researching, writing, and formatting articles. It’s a handy tool that helps us get stories out faster and keep things accurate — but don’t worry, everything still gets a proper human check before it reaches you!
