Subject: Request for Investigation of Applicant Information – Tree Works Application PP-13356187

Dear Planning Officer,

I wish to raise a concern regarding the information submitted in Tree Works Application PP-13356187 relating to land at Padden Brook, Romiley.

Having reviewed the application documents, I note that the applicant’s address has been entered as:

Padden Brook Mews, Romiley, Stockport, SK6 3AS

However, my understanding is that this address is neither:

  • the applicant’s actual residential address; nor
  • the address of the landowner as recorded in other documentation relating to the site.

The application form contains a declaration confirming that the information provided is true and accurate. As such, I would be grateful if the Council could verify the accuracy of the applicant details and confirm whether the information supplied complies with the requirements of the application process.

I am also concerned that the same application sought consent for works to protected trees on a site that has been the subject of significant local concern. In these circumstances it is important that the Council can demonstrate that all information submitted by the applicant is accurate and complete.

I therefore request that the Council:

  1. Verify the applicant’s identity and address details.
  2. Confirm that the correct ownership information has been provided.
  3. Consider whether any inaccuracies in the application documentation are material to the determination of the application.
  4. Place this correspondence on the public planning file.

I would be grateful for an acknowledgement and a response setting out the Council’s position.

Declaration
I/we hereby apply for planning permission/consent as described in this form and the accompanying plans/drawings and
additional information. I/we confirm that, to the best of my/our knowledge, any facts stated are true and accurate and any
opinions given are the genuine opinions of the person(s) giving them.

Yours faithfully,

Sheila Oliver
